The Wolverex is a tough Zoid. It is slow, heavy and built like a tank. Despite its lumbering appearance, it can still surprise enemies with it's flexibility, due to its segmented body. The Zoid has incredible physical strength, capable of pushing around Zoids much larger than it. It has been known to topple over an unlucky Gojulas! The Zoid has a rather blunt form - thick armour and stubby weapons allow it to traverse any terrain without fear of bits being knocked off.

Covered in layers of armour, the Wolverine Zoid can take a beating and still come out of it ready to rip your limbs off. The Zoid is fully covered - even the joints on its legs and feet incorporate sliding flaps of armour to protect its actuators. Its armour is also angled such that projectiles are more likely to glance off than explode on impact. The Wolverex has an unusual arsenal of weapons, due to the role it takes in warfare. Like the Red Scout, the Wolverex is based behind enemy lines. Capable of operating for months in enemy territory, the Zoid is best know for its ability to disrupt enemy supply lines and generally strike fear into those previously of the belief they were untouchable.

Mounted to the Zoid's shoulders are a pair of forward facing beam cannons. Mounted on the hips is a turreted flamethrower. The forepaws implement a set of extendable claws to tear into Zoids at close range.

The Wolverex is actually a commission done for a guy by the name of Paris. The Wolverex concept is his, I created the visual design with his input.
